Stories can change minds. They allow people to see the world from another perspective that they might never have considered. And right now, that’s precisely what we need to offer.

On 16 May, MPs will debate the latest version of the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill. We believe this Bill is dangerous, especially for disabled people. MPs must understand why — and that starts with us.

We need your help.

There are a few simple but powerful ways you can get involved:

  • Write to your MP and tell them why you’re concerned.

  • Ask for a meeting to discuss your views.

  • Send a postcard using the tool on our website.

  • And, perhaps most powerfully, record a short video.

A 30–60-second video filmed on your phone in a well-lit spot could make a big impact. Say what this Bill means to you and why it matters. Speak from the heart. We’ll share these clips on social media to amplify our message and show the breadth of opposition in the disabled community.

It’s easy to do, and it works. The videos we’ve shared have had a fantastic response — honest, moving, and impossible to ignore. Now we need more. Your voice can make the difference.

Find out how to make and share your video here.

Together, we can show Parliament the reality behind the rhetoric.
