Join us at Parliament Square — and help us reach the MPs who matter
On Friday 11 September, MPs will be debating the Assisted Suicide Bill. Not Dead Yet UK will be at Parliament Square — and we are asking our supporters to help us make sure MPs hear from the people this Bill would affect most.
You can do two things. Come and stand with us. And contact your MP.
Come to Parliament Square on 11 September
We'll be gathering from 8:30 am. The demonstration runs until approximately 3 pm. Come for an hour, come for the whole day — whatever you can manage will make a difference.
T-shirts and placards will be available on the day, so just bring yourself.
Please be aware that Dignity in Dying will also be in the area, and we may share some of the space. Please stay calm, stay focused, and let our presence speak for itself. We always conduct ourselves with dignity — and that matters.
Getting there
The nearest tube station is Westminster (Jubilee, Circle and District lines) — it's right on the square's doorstep. Westminster station has step-free access from street to platform.
Alternatively, St James's Park and Embankment stations are both a short walk away.
By bus, routes 3, 11, 12, 24, 87, 88, 148, 159 and 453 all stop close by. Look for the Westminster Station or Westminster Abbey stops.
Contact your MP — it takes two minutes
Can't come in person? You can still make your voice heard.
Visit action.notdeadyetuk.org to send your MP a postcard or email asking them to vote against the Bill. It's quick, simple, and it works.
