Not Dead Yet UK will be demonstrating in Parliament Square as MPs prepare to debate the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill. Join us and make your voice heard.


On Friday 11 September 2026, Not Dead Yet UK will be holding a protest demonstration in Parliament Square, London.


We will be there from 8 am until 3 pm. Come for an hour or stay for the day — whatever works for you.


Why we are protesting

The previous Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill fell when the last parliamentary session ended. It did not become law.


Now a new Bill has been introduced.


For Not Dead Yet UK, it raises the same serious concerns and unanswered questions.


We do not believe its safeguards adequately protect disabled people from coercion, abuse or the pressures created by inadequate health, palliative and social care.


Disabled people need support to live. We should not be changing the law while so many people are still struggling to obtain the care, treatment and practical support they need.


MPs are due to debate the Bill on 11 September. Parliament Square is on Westminster’s doorstep, so this is our opportunity to make sure they hear us loud and clear.

We will shortly publish a simple guide to contacting your MP, explaining why this Bill puts disabled people at risk and asking them to vote against it.


You can also help by sharing this page with friends, family and anyone else who may want to stand with us. Word of mouth makes an enormous difference to a small organisation like ours.
