Here’s How You Can Help Kill the Bill.

The most dangerous change in UK law in a generation is speeding toward us. On 13 June, MPs will debate the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill—a bill that puts disabled and terminally ill people directly in harm’s way. Just one week later, on 20 June, it could pass to the Lords if we don’t get enough MPs to change their minds. And once that happens, it is only a matter of time before it becomes law.

We’re nearly out of time. We need you to take action now.

This bill is not safe. It will create a fast track to death, not dignity. Coercion is hard to detect. Prognoses are often wrong. And once the law changes, there’s no going back.

There are three things you can do to help make a difference. We need to change the minds of 28 MPs.. We've been told this is likely to happen if they hear directly from constituents on why this matters to you.

Contact Your MP Today

Your MP needs to hear from you—urgently. Tell them this bill is dangerous and discriminatory. Ask for a meeting and speak from the heart. Follow these simple steps:

1. Click here to find your MP and their contact details:

2. Write to your Member of Parliament (MP) requesting a meeting, either online or in person. Your own words are best, but you can also use our template letter as a starting point.

3. Send your letter by email or post, and don’t forget to follow up.

If you want further inspiration, you can read about these seven key concerns we are raising with MPs here -

Tell Your Story

MPs need to hear from real people, not statistics. Your story could make all the difference. Record a 60-second video or audio answering one of these questions:

- How would this Bill affect you?- What scares you most about it?- What support should be offered instead of assisted suicide?

Then:

1. Record your message on your phone. 2. Upload it using WeTransfer

3. Email the download link to hello@notdeadyetuk.org

We will then promote your story as part of our influencing campaign*.

*(By sending your video, you agree that we can share it on our website and social media. You can request that we remove it at any time.)

Join Us at Parliament

This June, we’ll be visible, vocal, and united in saying NO to assisted suicide. Demonstrations outside Parliament:

Friday 13 June and Friday 20 June 8:30 am–12 pm

George V Statue, Abingdon St, London SW1P 3JY

We’re Nearly Out of Time

If we don’t act now, we may never get another chance.

Join the campaign. Speak out. Show up.

Because disabled lives are not disposable.
