The Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill will soon be voted on in Parliament. This is a dangerous piece of legisalation that will kill vulnerable individuals. It is imperative that we work together to stop this happening.

Here are THREE ways you can support

1. Contact your MP

Your voice matters. Ahead of the next reading in parliament of the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill in the House of Commons in June 2025 we need as many of our supporters as possible to write to their MP and request a meeting with them to explain the dangers of this bill and how it will kill many vulnerable people.

Follow three simple steps to arrange a meeting with your MP.

1. Enter your address to find out who your MP is and their contact details here.

2. Write to your MP to request a meeting with them, either online or in person to talk about how this Bill will affect you and the wider disabled community. Writing your own letter will be more effective, but if needed you can find our template letter here.

3. Attach the letter to an email and send it to your MP (or print and post!).

2. Share your story

We are sharing the dangers of the proposed bill with Members of Parliament and members of the public, but we need your help. The voices of disabled people need to be heard by decision makers. We are sharing views on our disabled voices page - we would like to share yours too.

3. Join our events

The next reading of the assisted suicide bill is just weeks away. If we don’t act now, we risk irreversible harm.

We need your help to fight this. Every voice and presence helps us to campaign, influence decision-makers, raise awareness, and protect disabled people's lives.

We are organising two events during June when we know the Bill will be discussed in Parliament.
